Description
Vol-au-vents (which in French literally means "flight to the wind") are small baskets formed by overlapping discs of puff pastry. They have an opening in the top, which can be filled with vegetables, cream cheese, shrimps, minced meat or something sweet.
Vol au vents are the perfect accompaniment to all sorts of occasions, as appetizers, aperitifs or desserts, all to be shared.
