A much smaller variant of the classic Ditali Rigati, Ditalini Rigati are part of the small pasta family and originate from Campania.

Inspired in shape by the sewing accessory of the same name, but presented in miniature and open at the top, Ditalini Rigati are especially used for preparing light and tasty broth-based soups, enriched with croutons or vegetables cut into thin strips.

They can also be paired with thick soups such as creams and veloutés.
